Description
Epoxy based, penetrating, stabilising primer for range of Fosroc epoxy coatings
Uses
- To harden and stabilise concrete
- Reduces the potential of substrate contamination from blowing sand or other deleterious material
- Penetrates deeply into the concrete, clogging the pores, thus preventing water from entering into the concrete/ masonry by capillary action
- Long open time

Instructions for use Preparation
It is essential that the primer is applied to a sound, clean and dry substrate in order to achieve the maximum adhesive bond and long term durability.
Mixing
Mix both components till a homogeneous mixture is obtained. It is important that both components are intermixed thoroughly and that no traces of the components remain unmixed.
Application
When mixed the primer should be applied immediately with a roller, brush or spray in a thin continuous film. Care should be taken to avoid over application or puddles. If the existing substrate is very porous a second coat may be necessary.
Cleaning
Nitoprime SP should be removed from tools and equipment with Fosroc Solvent 102 immediately after use. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
